The New Mom’s Guide to Navigating the Fourth Trimester

Today is the big day! Wahoo! The day my book, Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth: The New Mom’s Guide to Navigating the Fourth Trimester, is being birthed.

You can grab your copy here!

This book was born out of my own heartache, struggles and my desire to prevent other mothers from having to experience the same.

It wasn’t long after the birth of my son that I started to feel something wasn’t quite right. After multiple doctors visits and hearing the same ‘diagnosis’ from multiple doctors, “You’re a mom, of course you’re exhausted,” I awoke one morning after having fallen asleep at the breakfast table with my son. A full night’s sleep wasn’t enough. In fact, no amount of sleep was enough to repel the fatigue, pain or any of the other symptoms I was experiencing.

Not only was I suffering, but I was seeing similar cases of stressed, fatigued, overwhelmed mothers in my clinic every day. The lack of care for new moms was something I had observed long before having my son, but experiencing it myself got me thinking … I’m a doctor and I’m having all of these issues. How hard must it be for so many moms out there struggling with the same challenges?

Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth

Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth – The New Mom’s Guide to Navigating the Fourth Trimester is a curation of natural tips, remedies, and recipes exclusively for the new mom. In it, I share many of the natural remedies I used to heal my body after my birth.

The fourth trimester (those early months following childbirth) is a time of immense physical and emotional healing and growth. It’s also a time in a woman’s life when her health is often overlooked.

Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth addresses the many questions that new mothers may have about their healing bodies, from breast and vaginal health, to mood and hormone balance.

The book was designed to be picked up in the days, weeks, and even months after birth to support new moms in the often intense and scary postpartum period. The information on adrenal and hormone health is even beneficial for those who are interested in boosting fertility and readying their bodies for pregnancy.

It was designed to be read in small, easy-to-digest chapters, with simple recipes and tips for herbal and homeopathic remedies.

This is the book I wish I’d had when my son was born!

Here’s what my mentor and Internationally recognized thyroid and autoimmune expert Dr. Datis Kharrazian, has said about Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth: “The book is filled with practical and effective strategies to help all new mothers navigate themselves back to health. Childbirth can be a trigger for many health problems and this book is a critical read for all mothers.”

In Healing Your Body Naturally After Childbirth – The New Mom’s Guide to Navigating the Fourth Trimester, you will find practical ways to support your body throughout postpartum and beyond, with the emphasis of gentle, natural therapies that have stood the test of time.

Happy Mothering!
