You know all about avoiding sun exposure, wearing sunscreen and keeping toxins off your face, but there are other practices that can help you achieve that daily glow. Make these 7 daily habits part of your skin care routine for vibrant and youthful skin.

7 Daily Habits for Glowing Youthful Skin

Eat Gelatin

Eat 2 Tablespoons every day to improve collagen production and elasticity of your skin. I recommend Great Lakes gelatin (the one with the green label).

Drink Water

Plump up your cells by staying hydrated. The better hydrated you are, the more youthful your skin will appear.
Water also aids the body in eliminating waste and I'm talking about the kind of waste that makes your skin appear dull, puffy and causes acne. Drink a cup of water every 2-3 hours throughout the day and watch the vibrancy return to your skin.

Grab a Green Tea

The antioxidants in green tea help fight the aging process and rejuvenate your skin cells. It can also help skin issues that are due to excess testosterone by increasing sex hormone binding globulin, a protein that hangs onto excess (unwanted) testosterone.

Avoid Dairy

Dairy can cause hormonal imbalances that produce acne. In addition, if you are intolerant to dairy, you will aggravate your immune system every time you eat it, leading to irritated looking skin, dark circles under the eyes and signs of aging.

Eat Vegetables High In Carotenoids

4 servings of these vegetables a day results in more attractive skin. The pigment will actually improve the appearance of your skin in about six weeks.

Get Your Beauty Sleep

When you sleep, you give your body the opportunity to recover and repair damaged cells. The circulation of your skin increases during these restful hours, eliminating toxins and increasing your skin integrity.

Check out these sleep tips.

Take a Cold Shower

Ok, not the whole time, but definitely end with cold water. A cool blast of water at the end of your shower will improve circulation, giving your skin a vibrant glow that lasts the day.
