Fresh Ginger Tea

Fresh ginger tea is wonderful for settling an upset stomach and soothing nausea. It is also invigorating, helping increase your metabolism and warming your body on a cool day. Ginger has also been praised for its role in helping ward off colds & flus.

Fresh Ginger Tea


  • 1/2 to 1 1/2 fresh grated ginger (Remember, you can always add more so start with a bit & see what you like.)
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juice
  •  1 tsp honey
  • 1-2 cups hot water (depending on how much you'd like to drink.)


  1. Use a spoon to remove the skin from the ginger root. Grate desired amount of ginger into mug.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice into mug.
  3. Add hot water and allow to steep about 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in honey.
  5. Enjoy!
